Bulletproof Heart

Salma Brown will save the world – one trafficked person at a time. That becomes more difficult when the traffickers keep hiring Samson of Darset, a top-notch assassin, to protect their wares.

Despite Salma using him to dispose of some of her pursuers when they first meet, she gets out of the other encounters alive. Then Salma tries to save Samson's life because she cannot let a helpless person die, even if he is a killer. As a result, she becomes his target in a very different way.

To make their relationship work, they will have to take on Samson’s employer: an international cartel of professional killers.
